SOHSS Leadership is excited t host our first, hopefully anmual, clothing swap! An event like this is a FREE, fun, and eco-friendly way to promote sustainability and reduce the negative impacts of the fast fashion industry by giving old clothes a new life.
We are accepting gently used clothing donations from April 7 - May 8th. Donate those great clothes you don't wear anymore and return for the event on Tuesday, May 12th to find new, upcycled items to love.

Sr Girls Soccer
This weekend our girls soccer team had their best finish ever
in our home tournament. They beat their friends from Merritt, they took out
Fraser Lake who travelled 800km for this tournament, and they had a sweet
victory over Williams Lake, a school twice our size, that we have never beat
before! Every Hope Secondary player stepped on the field this weekend,
giving it their all and leaving it all on the field, contributing to our
success. Our girls played in the final match, competing for the
gold. They dominating the game, holding a 1-0 lead for the majority the
match before Nechako Valley scored on a placed kick. Our girls battled
hard through two rounds of over time, and took Nechako to shoot out. We took
the game to 5 shooters in penalty kicks. This was our best finish ever,
with a silver medal finish, and a taste of gold along the way. Your
coaches are proud of you girls. These girls represented this
weekend! Please stand up and help me recognize these girls with a cheer
we can hear down at the office. What a well deserved finish
Mustangs!
